FAQs

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure about what you’re experiencing, therapy can be a helpful place to begin. Many people come to therapy during transitions or periods of strain, not only during crises. You don’t need to wait until things feel unmanageable to seek support.
What is psychotherapy, and how does it help?
Psychotherapy is a confidential, collaborative process where we explore emotions, experiences, and relationship patterns together. Over time, therapy can help you better understand yourself, regulate emotions, and relate to others in ways that feel more supportive and sustainable.
What concerns do you work with?
I work with adolescents and adults around concerns such as anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, trauma, grief, self-worth, and relationship challenges. I also work closely with couples seeking support with communication, trust, and emotional connection.
Do you offer individual and couples therapy?
Yes. I offer both individual therapy and couples therapy. Individual therapy focuses on your inner experiences and personal patterns. Couples therapy focuses on how partners relate, communicate, and respond to each other emotionally.
What is couples therapy like?
Couples therapy offers a supportive space for both partners. We look at patterns of connection and disconnection with care, without blame, with the aim of helping both partners feel heard, understood, and emotionally safer with each other
What is your approach to therapy?
My approach is integrative and relational. I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy, attachment-based work, mindfulness, CBT-informed tools, and the Gottman Method for couples. The work is always adapted to your needs, pace, and lived experience.
How long does therapy take, and how often are sessions?
There’s no fixed timeline in therapy. Some people seek short-term support, while others engage in longer-term work. Most clients begin with weekly 45–60 minute sessions, and we regularly check in about what feels helpful as therapy continues.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. I currently offer online sessions via Google Meet. Many people find online therapy effective and meaningful, especially when the space feels safe, private, and emotionally connected.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a gentle starting point. We talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything. We move at a pace that feels comfortable.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is confidential, with a few rare exceptions related to safety, guided by ethical and legal standards. Emotional safety is central to my work, and sessions are paced with care and openness.
What are your fees and cancellation policy?
Individual therapy sessions are ₹3500 for a 60-minute session. A limited number of sliding-scale slots are available based on availability. Cancellations or reschedules require advance notice, typically 24–48 hours.
How do I get started, and what if I’m unsure about fit?
You can begin by filling out the inquiry form on the website. It’s okay to feel unsure at first. Finding the right fit matters, and if I feel I may not be the best person to support your needs, I’ll help guide you toward appropriate options.
